Buyer FAQ — prices, MOQ, samples, documents and shipping

Weichun Lighting is the English-language export desk for a solar outdoor-lighting factory in Guzhen, Zhongshan, Guangdong, China. We publish the factory's range in English with specifications, packing data and indicative USD prices, and we handle the enquiry, the quotation and the order. Orders are contracted and invoiced by Ryanfulfil, a Singapore business. We are not a marketplace and we do not hold stock.

They are Weichun Lighting reference codes, and we mint them so that you and we can name a model unambiguously. The factory does not issue export model codes for most of this range — it identifies products by a Chinese style name, a material and a size.

The code reads left to right: WC for Weichun, then PA (pillar, aluminium), PP (pillar, plastic/ABS), SL (street light) or the factory's own code for the wall and spike lamps; then the style; then the size in millimetres or the series wattage. A trailing -E means the mains version, and -T the tall body.

Quote the reference code to us and we will match it to the factory's own description and dimensions on the quotation, which is the document that governs your order. If you already have the factory's Chinese product name, send that instead — it is printed next to every model on the category pages.

Yes, and they are indicative rather than quoted. Each price is in USD per piece, shows the factory's standard export pack as the quantity basis, and is marked indicative until 31 March 2027. They are based on EXW Zhongshan and exclude freight, duties, Chinese VAT, samples and tooling.

What moves the final number: your quantity, your destination and Incoterm, packing changes, and any branding or tooling. That is why the final price always comes by written quotation. 197 of the 204 models on this site carry a price; the other 7 are quoted on request because the factory has not priced them for us yet.

The MOQ shown against each price is the factory's standard export pack — the smallest quantity its own packing data supports, which for most pillar lights is one carton of between 2 and 27 pieces, and for most street lights a single-unit carton.

That is a packing minimum, not a negotiated commercial minimum. The factory's actual order minimum per model and destination is still being confirmed, and it will be published here once it is. Until then, send the quantity you want and we will tell you plainly whether it is workable.

Yes. Samples are paid, and the sample cost is credited against your first order when that is agreed at quotation stage — it cannot be applied retroactively, so raise it while we are quoting. Sample freight is quoted separately with your courier account or ours.

On solar lighting a sample is worth more than a datasheet. Charge it, put it outside for a week, and see how it behaves on a cloudy run. That tells you more about the panel and the cell than any figure we could print.

None, today. We hold no CE certificate, no RoHS declaration, no IP-rating test report and no battery transport document for any model on this site, and we are not going to imply otherwise. The factory's catalogue shows a page of Chinese design-patent certificates as unreadable thumbnails; we have not seen the originals and have not confirmed whose name is on them, so we make no patent claim either.

Tell us which document your market requires for which model and we will request it from the factory and send you what comes back. Where a document does not exist, we will get you a quotation for the test rather than pretend.

Only one model on this site carries a stated ingress rating: the twin-head spike light is specified at IP65 on the factory's own English sheet. For every other model the factory has not given us a rating, so we have not printed one.

These are outdoor products and the factory sells them as such. But an ingress rating is a tested claim, not a description, and an untested one fails at exactly the wrong moment. Request the rating and the report for the model you want before you commit to a large order.

We do not publish lumen figures for this range, because we cannot yet source them reliably. The factory's pillar-light sheet carries a light-output figure written in a unit that does not apply to light, so we have left it out rather than convert a number we might convert wrongly. For the street lights we have LED counts and types but no measured output and no LM-79 report.

What we can give you for every model is the solar panel rating and the battery capacity, which is what determines whether a light lasts the night in your season. If your specification is written in lumens, tell us the figure you need to hit and we will put it to the factory as a direct question.

Because the number in the model name is the factory's series designation, not a measured luminaire wattage. This is common across Chinese all-in-one solar street lights and it is worth understanding before you compare quotes from several suppliers.

Judge these products on the two figures that set their behaviour: the panel rating, which decides how much energy goes in on an average day, and the battery capacity, which decides how much is available after dark. Both are published for every street-light model on this site. A larger name on a smaller panel does not make a brighter light.

Ryanfulfil, a Singapore business, is the contracting seller. It issues your proforma invoice and your commercial invoice and receives payment. The goods are manufactured in Guzhen, Zhongshan by our manufacturing partner.

A payment-security note worth reading once: our bank details are issued with the proforma invoice and do not change by email. If you ever receive a message appearing to come from us that changes a beneficiary account, do not pay it. Call us on a number you already have and confirm first.

Yes, and it is the single most common thing that delays a first solar-lighting shipment. Nearly every product on this site contains a lithium cell, which makes it dangerous goods for air freight and brings packing, labelling and documentation requirements with it.

Ask us for the battery transport documentation before you book freight rather than after. If you are importing into a market with its own battery producer-registration rules, check whether that obligation falls on you as the importer — on most routes it does, and it is separate from anything the factory provides.

We have not published a lead time because we have not measured one yet, and a number we made up would be worth nothing to you. Lead time comes with your written quotation, for your model and quantity.

One thing to plan around regardless of supplier: Chinese factories close for Chinese New Year, and the weeks either side are the worst time to be waiting on a first production run. If your delivery falls near it, tell us early and we will confirm the factory's exact closure dates for that year.

The factory sells a wider range domestically than the 204 models published here — this site covers the lines it has given us priced export specification sheets for. If you have seen something in the range that is not here, describe it and we will ask whether it is available for export and get it priced.
